چکیده

Fluorescence imaging in the near-infrared II (NIR-II, 1000–1700 nm) region opens up new avenues for biological systems due to suppressed scattering and low autofluorescence at longer-wavelength photons. Nonetheless, development of organic NIR-II fluorophores is still limited mainly shortage efficient molecular design strategy. Herein, we propose an approach designing Janus by introducing electronic donors with distinct properties into one molecule. As a proof-of-concept, fluorescent dye 2 TT-m, oC6B both twisted planar displayed balanced absorption emission which were absent its parent compound. The key strategy molecule that it combines merits intense from architecture high fluorescence quantum yield motif. resulting nanoparticles exhibit molar absorptivity 1.12 ?104 M?1 cm?1 808 nm 3.7%, displaying typical aggregation-induced (AIE) attribute. highly bright stable assured image-guided cancer surgery resect submillimeter tumor nodules. present study may inspire further philosophy biomedical applications.

Novel bright-emission small-molecule NIR-II fluorophores for in vivo tumor imaging and image-guided surgery.

Though high brightness and biocompatible small NIR-II dyes are highly desirable in clinical or translational cancer research, their fluorescent cores are relatively limited and their synthetic processes are somewhat complicated. Herein, we have explored the design and synthesis of novel NIR-II fluorescent materials (H1) without tedious chromatographic isolation with improved fluorescence perfor...

A simple mitochondrial targeting AIEgen for image-guided two-photon excited photodynamic therapy

Two-photon excited photodynamic therapy (TP-PDT) is not only able to offer deeper penetration depth but also much more precise 3D treatment than traditional one-photon excited PDT. However, the achievement of TP-PDT requires photosensitizers with large two-photon absorption cross sections, efficient generation of reactive oxygen species, and bright two-photon fluorescence. In this work, we pres...

this study intends to investigate samuel beckett’s waiting for godot and endgame under the lacanian psychoanalysis. it begins by explaining the most important concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis. the beckettian characters are studied regarding their state of unconscious, and not the state of consciousness as is common in most beckett studies. according to lacan, language plays the sole role in ...

Pancreas-Targeted NIR Fluorophores for Dual-Channel Image-Guided Abdominal Surgery

OBJECTIVE Pancreas-related complications are some of the most serious ones in abdominal surgery. The goal of this study was to develop and validate novel near-infrared (NIR) fluorophores that would enable real-time pancreas imaging to avoid the intraoperative pancreatic injury. DESIGN After initial screening of a large NIR fluorophore library, the performance of 3 selected pancreas-targeted 7...
